The Amenities

Ok so just so we are clear, we are ok using our camper for an entire weekend and don’t relay that much on campground amenities, but this place has a little bit for everyone so I had to blog about it.

Restrooms

Not bad at all! They are as clean as one could expect on a dirty muddy raining Washington day! They keep the TP stocked and check the restrooms frequently. I ran into the guy 3 different times in one day.

The showers work, you can’t control the hot or cold but the temp is a good temp to wash and not too hot for children. Be ware of the concrete floor. I would preform a wood pallet to stand on when showering so the dirt does not stick to my feet but not a huge deal just wipe your feet a few extra times.

Over all one of the better more clean set up’s I have used at a campground.

 

Fishing / Lake Access

WOW. This place is on the Yale Reservoir, you have a long stretch to fish from, or you can go to the dock and do some fishing from there, this place also has a small jetty that creates the swimming area (We will get to that more in a bit). Plenty of places to fish from without being shoulder to shoulder with some random person.

I asked a lady fishing if she caught anything and she said yeah with a big grin we got a trout.

If you have a boat they have a nice boat launch and a huge parking lot.

 

Swimming / Play Area (Kid Friendly)

This place has just about everything you could think of and if you have kids their is something for just about all ages. They have a good swimming hole that is more like a small cove so you don’t get too many waves in the area. It’s got a good sandy beach for the kids to play on.

But no lifeguard on duty!  

This is a nice playground, I was surprised that no one was playing on it when the sun was out. But that could be because it’s hidden in the back of the near the swimming hole and boat launch. If you look for it you will find it. It’s worth the search if you have little kids. My son is 15 and said that looks like fun can I go play on it lol.
