Our RV

We have a 2004 Kumfort K2 21ft Toy Hauler.

Equipped with:

Rear Queen Bed Lift
Two fold up benches
Roof Mount AC Unit
Small but functional Kitchen
Full size RV Refrigerator/Freezer
Standard water heater
Restroom with sink and shower
Built in Thermostatically controlled heater (That is LOUDER than hell having a party)
2nd Heater (We installed a vent free propane heater- low noise)
Gas Fill Station for the Toys with a 20 gallon tank.
2000 Watt Generator built into the RV to power everything, and it runs off the gas tank.

  • With the bed up and the benches put away we can carry roughly 3 quads and a dirt bike, or a side-by-side and a dirt bike. All toys we hope to get soon.
  • One benefit we found by getting a toy hauler is how open it is on the inside. it feels like a little studio apartment, they maximize the room to fit toys, so when the toys are out you got way more room than what you normally would get in a trailer.
  • When we bring family with us we will put the bed half way up and throw a mattress on under it and it adds more sleeping space for a total of 6 with room to move around.2004 K2 Trailer

What pulls it:

We pull this fun toy that holds our toys with our other toy; a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500, Crew Cab.

This truck pulls this like a dream, I got the truck new with 14 miles on it. Although I am no longer of fan of the GMC because of how often this truck has been in the shop it does pull the trailer without any issues, loaded or unloaded pulls it just fine. Would a bigger truck, like a 2500 or 3500 be better? YES without a doubt, but for what we do now this truck meets our needs. If I didn’t use the truck as a commuter car putting 90+ miles a day on it I would put more thought into a larger truck.
