This is Red, she is one friendly chicken that lays some crazy large eggs. We acquired Red from a friend along with her sister Sweet Pea, They came from a larger flock and she mixed in with our flock quickly and when she sees you she will come running, I know it’s because she wants any treats we may have, but maybe just maybe it’s because she likes us just a little bit.
Red is the back up boss of the flock, the others tend to follow her around. She is also the time keeper when it’s starting to get dark she heads into the coop and the rest tend to follow. When you approach her she will squat and let you pick her up and hold her for a bit.
